The contract involves the expansion of an 11 km section of the DK 45 road from Jełowa to Bierdzany. This section is a part of the route from Opole to Kluczbork and Olesno, and further to Łódź or Częstochowa.

An essential aspect of the expansion will be strengthening, and in some sections, replacement of the existing road structure to accommodate a load capacity of 11.5 tons per axle. Safety conditions will be improved through the construction of four roundabouts at existing intersections. Pedestrian and bicycle paths will be built, along with additional lanes to serve adjacent areas.

The expanded section will be equipped with road safety elements and street lighting. The project also involves the construction of new bus bays and the reconstruction of culverts.

The investment will be carried out between 2023 and 2025.
