Description of the Contract:

The object of the investment is the construction of a 9.23 km-long section of a G-class regional road, along a new route, as well as the construction of a bridge crossing on Wisłoka and Potok Chorzelowski and the construction of environment protection devices. The road connects the locations of Sadkowa Góra and Tuszów Narodowy and, together with the planned crossing of Vistula and the bypass of Mielec, will connect the Podkarpackie Voivodeship with the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, significantly reducing the time of travel between Mielec and Połaniec, Staszów and Kielce. This, in turn, will entail economic development of the entire region.

Technical parameters of the bridge on Wisłoka:

• length of the bridge: 726 m,
• area of the bridge 10.238,60 m²,
• continuous composite structure, on 17 supports
• total width of the facility: 14.28 (spans 1-4) and 16.06 (other spans).
• the works will encompass the construction of road culverts and an animal crossing under the designed main road, as well as culverts under adjacent service roads and minor roads along the existent natural and artificial watercourses.
• the Total number of 25 culverts will be built, in various technologies: reinforced concrete culverts (box culverts and circular culverts) and steel culvers made of corrugated sheet and polypropylene pipes.
