Contract works include the reconstruction of the road and adjusting the surface of the highway A4 for the load capacity of 115kN/axis between Balice and Opatkowice, in the section: the left lane – km 411 + 346 – 426 +908,56, and the right lane – km 411 + 346 – 427 + 458,86, and five motorway junctions.

The range of works includes:

• Milling and dismantling the existing road surface, together with elements of the road equipment; next, the reinforcement and construction of a new surface, and completing and profiling of the existing roadsides and the central reservation,
• Rebuilding two bridges – replacing bridge superstructures and adjusting the bearings, and the renovation of 13 bridges, including 8 bridges which are a part of the highway and 5 bridges over the highway,
• Renovation, replacement and supplementing the elements of the drainage system of the right of way,
• Renovation and reconstruction of the lighting and the power supply,
• Construction of the pedestrian/cycling bridge, with the necessary equipment and accesses,
• Construction of the floodgate control room in the „Kościuszko” barrage,
• Reconstruction of the horizontal road marking, renovating and supplementing the vertical road marking, variable message signs and the monitoring station with its power supply,
• Replacement of crash barriers and construction of the railing of the road,
• Renovation of farm roads and construction of technical exits.
