Development of the design documentation and execution of construction works at the Namyślin – Boleszkowice – MA border at km 265,980 - 285,000 in the scope of the task titled: “Modernisation of the railway line no. 273 at the Głogów – Zielona Góra – Rzepin – Dolna Odra section, including the hubs no. 821 and 822”

Scope of works:

The section between the Namyślin station MA border Zielona Góra is another tender won by Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A. for the execution of works at the railway line no. 273 Wrocław Główny – Zielona Góra – Szczecin Główny.

 

The scope of works includes the following:

  • Replacement of the track surface at the section between Namyślin and Bielin, including the track surface at the Namyślin, Boleszkowice and Mieszkowice stations with the total track length of 26 km
  • Termination of the unused side track at the Mieszkowice station
  • Replacement of 29 junctions at the Namyślin, Mieszkowice and Boleszkowice stations
  • Overhaul of 6 railroad crossings at the section of works
  • Reconstruction of 8 platforms at the Boleszkowice, Namyślin, Mieszkowice stations and the Bielin passenger stop, including assembly of new platform shelters and modernisation of the passenger information system
  • Modernisation of 1 bridge and 2 overpasses
  • Modernisation of 4 culverts in the course of the railroad line
  • Works in the scope of the railroad traffic control discipline
  • Replacement of the traction network elements
  • Lighting works on stations and platforms

 

After completing the works, the speed of passenger trains on the executed section will reach 120 km/h. The passenger comfort at the stations will also be improved. The platforms will be elevated, facilitating entry into the cars, new benches and shelters will be installed, new passenger information system will be used, all obstructions for disabled persons will be removed from passageways to the platforms. The aesthetics will also be improved and the platforms will have new lighting.
