Development of the design documentation and execution of construction works at the Mieszkowice – Granica IZ at km 285,000 – Dolna Odra in the scope of the task titled: “Modernisation of the railway line no. 273 at the Głogów – Zielona Góra – Rzepin – Dolna Odra section, including the hubs no. 821 and 822”

Scope of works:

The works are executed at the section of the line no. 273 connecting Wrocław and Szczecin via Zielona Góra, at the section between the Mieszkowice and Dolna Odra stations. As part of the modernisation,
Mota-Engil Central Europe will execute construction works in the following scope:

  • Replacement of the track surface – 4.8 km of track, including the Krzywin Gryfiński station, at the sections of Krzywin Gryfiński – Dolna Odra and Mieszkowice – Godków;
  • Replacement of 15 junctions at Chojna, Godków and Krzywin Gryfiński stations, termination of 2 junctions including the track system
  • Replacement of the track and road surface on 4 crossings
  • Modernisation of 1 bridge and 1 overpass
  • Works at the restoration of 12 culverts
  • Reconstruction of 5 platforms: at Chojna and Krzywiń Gryfiński stations, Widuchowa and Pacholęta stops, including the installation of new shelters and passenger information system
  • Water draining works
  • Works in the scope of the railroad traffic control discipline
  • Adjustment of the traction network
  • Lighting works at platforms
     

The commission is executed for PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. as part of a broader investment task of improving the capacity of the entire railroad line no. 273 Wrocław – Zielona Góra – Szczecin. For the purpose of executing the work, Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A. uses high-capacity track machinery intended for replacing the track surface and traction network. An experienced technical staff guarantees efficient and professional execution of the works in accordance with the highest construction standards. After completing the entirety of the works, the passenger trains will travel at 120 km/h. Thanks to the elevation of the platform slab, the entry into the cars will be very comfortable. The lighting, new platform pavement, facilities for disabled persons and new shelters will ensure comfort to the travellers.
