As part of completing the construction of S69 Bielsko-Biała Żywiec-Zwardoń, „Mikuszowice” hub („Żywiecka/Bystrzańska”) – Żywiec, have been done: road works, preliminary works, earthworks, road embankment drainage, basecourse, pavement, finishing works, safety road devices, road elements, road greenery, bridge works, lighting, road embankment drainage, gas network reconstruction, electrical, teletechnical, water and sewage, course and drainage reconstruction – construction of „Kiemlichowiec” tank (access road with exit from public road and finishing works),  elements of environmental protection.

Road S69 is a part of the trans-european transport and is located  In VI Pan-European Corridor, forming a southern state border with Slovakia In Zwardoń with Express Road S1 in Bielsko-Biała. It is also a part of priority project TEN-T nr 25 („High construction Gdańsk—Brno/Bratislava-Vienna”). S69 extension to the south is the Sloval motorway D-3 Żylina—Skalite (under construction).

The main scopes of the investment were:

• a section of the express road construction S69 as one of the elements of basic road system of Polish and Silesia Region
• creation of a secure section of the Express Road with high level comfort of long-distance traffic on high-speed travelers,
• improving connections between Poland and Slovakia.
