Drivers can use the new roadway, which was put into use today, thus completing the implementation of the supplementary task to the contract for the construction of the Tomaszow Lubelski bypass.
The basic contract included the construction of the Tomaszow Lubelski bypass along the S17 expressway between Warsaw and Hrebenne. A 10-kilometer section of the new route was built on the eastern side of the city, as well as two junctions. At the intersection with provincial road No. 850, the "Tomaszów Lubelski Północ" interchange was created, while at the inclusion in the course of DK17, the "Tomaszów Lubelski Południe" interchange was built.
As part of a supplementary order, the second carriageway of the expressway was added on a section of about 5.5 km, between Junction W1 and W2.
