The construction of a bridge in Milsko in the Lubuskie Voivodeship, is one of the largest investments on the Odra river, since World War II. For years awaited by the residents, new bridge will significantly reduce the travel time, creating a connection between Zielona Góra and Wschowa. It will improve travel safety and its comfort, not only for local drivers. There is a decision on the parameters of the bridge, therefore the contractor Mota-Engil Central Europe has a green light for the further implementation of the project.
The investment is worth about PLN 73 million. It will improve communication in the central part of the Lubuskie Voivodeship. Why is it necessary? The ferry crossing operating in Milsko, causes a lot of difficulties in traffic, and as there are no road bridges in the area by the Odra river, the Management for Provincial Roads in Zielona Góra decided to implement it. The project is not only local, but also international - it will reduce travel time from border crossings towards Wschowa, Leszno and the eastern border.
