Mota-Engil signed a contract for the expansion of 220/110 kV Chełm substation

MECE has signed a contract with PSE for the expansion of 220/110 kV Chełm substation. The task we will perform is directly related to the expansion of 400/110 kV Lublin Systemowa substation and the construction of 400 kV line Chełm - Lublin Systemowa.

ABOUT THE CONTRACT

The subject of the contract is the expansion of 220/110 kV Chełm substation in the Lublin Province. The substation was built in 1979-1980 and it is necessary to modernize it and adapt it to the standards of PSE SA. As part of the investment project, the 220 kV switchgear will be extended, the 400/220 kV transformer station will be built and a 400 kV field for connection to the 400 kV Chełm - Lublin Systemowa line will be constructed. The project will also involve the construction of a fire water tank and installations, a new access road to the substation with an entrance gate, a technology building and a building for own needs, as well as acoustic screens. The investment is scheduled for completion by the end of 2023.
