Renovated by us, the Family Outpatient Clinic at the L. Zamenhof University Children's Clinical Hospital in Białystok, is already working at full capacity, receiving little patients and their families. This is a good moment to thank the Mota-Engil employees involved in the action and to summarize our activities.
University Children's Clinical Hospital in Białystok is the biggest diagnostic and therapeutic center for children and teenagers in Podlasie, providing specialized medical care for the whole region. In March this year, it turned out that the hospital urgently needed help to renovate the old waiting room and doctors' offices. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic made it necessary to create additional places where medical care and advice could be provided, and unfortunately this part of the hospital did not meet the conditions for this.
A group of Mota-Engil employees, working every day on the execution of the S19 Niedrzwica Duża - Kraśnik contract, came with support. For 2 weeks, our employees demolished old walls, renovated, repaired and painted, devoting their time to bring the place back to order in a short period of time. Thanks to their efforts the clinic gained colorful walls, new chairs and clean, pleasant to the eye medical offices.
For this selfless help, our company and the employees involved received special thanks from the Hospital Management and medical staff.
Certainly, this is not the last such action of MECE. Within the framework of the Mota-Engil for Children program, we are planning to provide further support to institutions and institutions providing help to children and teenagers.
