MECE signed contract for expansion of 220/110 kV substation in Sochaczew

We have signed another contract with Polskie Sieci Elektronergetyczne. MECE's Electromechanical Department will expand the 220/110 kV substation in Sochaczew. The investment is of supra-local importance and is an important element in the planned development of the transmission network in central Poland. The value of the contract exceeds PLN 31 million.  

 

Scope of work:

As part of the investment, we have planned: execution of detailed and as-built documentation for the Investment, construction of a new autotransformer AT1 unit, expansion of the 220 kV switchgear, expansion of the 110 kV switchgear, construction of a relay and auxiliary needs building, construction of a 110 kV cable line to connect the existing autotransformer AT2 unit with the newly built field No. 2 of the 110 kV switchgear, modernization of secondary circuits and telecommunications, modernization of the existing control room building, modernization of the existing storm water drainage network to increase capacity, including replacement of the oil separator, modernization of the internal road system, supply, installation and commissioning of SOT systems.

 

This is another MECE contract in the transmission and distribution power segment! We already have a lot of experience behind us in executing contracts for PSE. To date, we have completed such projects as the expansion of the 220/110 kV Glinki substation, modernization of the 220/110kV Pabianice substation, expansion of the 220 kV switchgear at the 220/110 kV Groszowice substation, expansion of the 220 kV switchgear at the 220/110 kV Piaseczno substation.
