The Voivode of Małopolska issued a decision regarding the building permit for a fragment of the 14 km S7 expressway Szczepanowice–Widoma. As part of the investment will be built Słomniki bypass. The general contractor for the investment worth 508 mln PLN is Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A. The contract was signed at the beginning of 2018 and provides for a works completion period of 34 months.
The scope of the investment includes:
- construction of a dual carriageway expressway with an earth dividing strip and emergency lanes,
- construction of road junctions Szczepanowice and Widoma,
- construction of engineering objects along the planned express road and along the roads crossing with it
