On March 17, 2023, the cornerstone laying ceremony for the construction of the new headquarters of the Sosnowiec District Court took place.
A new court building will be built on Kombajnistów Street, along with a representative square around it and technical infrastructure. The new building, with an area of about 8,796 sq. m., will accommodate all departments, which are currently headquartered in two different facilities.
The value of the contract is nearly PLN 100 million gross.
