Mota-Engil Central Europe has signed an agreement with Echo Investment for the implementation of luxury apartments located at Krochmalna Street in Warsaw.
The task set before the General Contractor consists in the implementation of the Apartments at the Warzelnia Building E. The project, made by the renowned studio JEMS Architects, harmoniously blends into the historic space. Its unique architecture harmonizes perfectly with its surroundings. As the Investor underlines: "This is a unique building - one of the most spectacular urban regenerations in Warsaw".
- The construction of this building is undoubtedly a challenge. The construction will be one of the most demanding not only because of the unique design but also because of the location and work already underway at other stages of the investment. We start work at the beginning of April and we take our contribution to this project very seriously. We have been cooperating with Echo Investment for 5 years. Together we have completed several interesting residential projects throughout the country. We value this cooperation - said Zbigniew Zajączkowski, President of the Management Board of Mota-Engil Central Europe.
About the building
This prestigious and special investment is called the "Icon of Warsaw Breweries". It gives the General Contractor Mota-Engil CE not only challenges but also the need to open up to non-standard solutions.
• The building will consist of 9 above-ground storeys and 2 storeys of the garage. We can find there 76 apartments, including 4 penthouses located on the two top floors. At the ground floor level, there are 5 commercial premises with representative entrance halls from Krochmalna Street and green areas.
• For the needs of demanding clients, a number of amenities have been planned to ensure the residents' comfort (integrated remote control system for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, control of facade panels).
• The interior of the building will be made using precious materials. Ceilings made of copper-painted nets, an elegant reception desk and a comfortable rest zone are provided. All this will allow residents to feel special in this place.
• The comfort of the flat will be influenced by elevators opening directly to the flats on last floor.
• The investor decided to use aluminum joinery not only on the ground floor (entry to services) but also on higher floors in the apartments. Designers drew attention to the smallest details related to the use of non-standard copper fittings or handles on the ground floor, which look and adapt to their overall appearance.
• Internal balustrades consisting of fiber-cement boards painted in white and closed in the framework of a copper flat bar be used.

Browary Warszawskie
This is an area with an extraordinary history, located between Grzybowska Street, Wronia Street, Chłonna Street, and Krochmalna Street. In 1846, the production of beer began here, which "Browary Warszawskie" not only entered the city's history but became the cradle of industrial development of Warsaw and one of the most important points on the European map for beer lovers.
Today, a place where history meets the present is designed with great care. Among the modern buildings, the largest preserved building of the former breweries "Warzelnia", the building of the Laboratoroty, Cellars and the residential house of the owners of the "Willa" Heberbusch and Schiele breweries will be revitalized.
