Mota-Engil Central Europe began its business in the electrical engineering sector in 2011 by purchasing Eltor S.A. The extensive experience of the Mota-Engil Group combined with the years of experience of the purchased company, which was established in 1950, and the introduction of new working methods and investments enabled Mota-Engil Central Europe to establish a strong and stable position on the electrical engineering market.

Presently, the Company is implementing projects involving the alteration and retrofit of four substations:

• Retrofit of the Pabianice 220/110 kV substation
• Extension of 220 kV switchgear at the Piaseczno 220/110 kV substation
• Extension of the Glinki 220/110 kV substation
• Extension of 220 kV switchgear at the Groszowice 220/110 kV substation
