Quality & Technical Information

Continuous monitoring of individual production processes permits obtaining aggregate of the highest quality. The continuity of production and quality of material is supervised by experienced managerial staff.

Upon preliminary qualification of the deposit which is to be used, the place of exploitation is selected. The material excavated goes to the crushing and sorting line, where it is subject to mechanic processing. In the processing plant, the technological process starts with preliminary crushing of the material excavated, upon which the material is placed on screen, where it is segregated into the fractions needed. The material is then sent to duly labeled finished product dumps. In the production of the entire assortment, the Metso Minerals equipment is used. In the final stage of production, samples are taken from the finished product for testing. Upon the approval of a given lot of material by the Quality Department, aggregate is delivered to the customer.

In the “GÓRKA” mine, an internal factory production control (FPC) system has been implemented, within the scope of which, the quality of the product sold is monitored. Additionally, the finished product is tested in the laboratory of the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining in Warsaw, in the Ferrocarbo laboratory and, permanently, in the Mota-Engil Central Europe S.A. laboratory. The FPC system implemented guarantees that our products are of excellent quality.

Certyfikaty

The natural aggregate offered satisfy the requirements set forth in applicable European standards:

  • PN – EN 12620 - Aggregates for concrete
  • PN – EN 13043 - Aggregates for bituminous mixtures and surface treatments for roads, airfields and other trafficked areas
  • PN - EN 13242 - Aggregates for unbound and hydraulically bound materials for use in civil engineering work and road construction
  • PN - EN 13383 - Hydro-technical works stone

For each lot of the material, a document with the CE 2+ conformity mark is issued. The “GÓRKA” Granite Mine has the FPC certificate issued by the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining in Warsaw, which performs periodic inspections of the entire production plant and of the Factory Production Control, ensuring continuous supervision of the FPC system.
