The contract concerns the renovation of approximately 17 kilometer section of railway track situated between Poznan and Szczecin in the province of Wielkopolska. The project is carried out in the "design and build" system.

Railway line No. 351 Poznan - Szczecin, which includes the renovated section, is electrified double track of national importance and is designed for cargo and passenger traffic.

Renovation works include, among others:

• railway surface and the railroad bed,
• railway traffic control devices,
• electrical devices and catenary,
• railway crossings,
• drainage system of the railway line,
• removal of collisions with infrastructure.

The investment aims to:

• increase speed on repaired sections from the current speed of 80km/h to the speed of 140 km/h
• shortening the travel time by about 5 minutes in each track,
• restore the full capacity of the railway line,
• improve the safety,
• maintaining the operating parameters of lines and reducing infrastructure maintenance costs,
• improving the services offered for passenger carriers and freight services.
