The reconstruction process of the road (thanks to which it became a road type “GP” – main, express-like road), which was the subject of the contract, included the construction of the second roadway, reconstruction and reinforcement of the existing surface of lanes for the load capacity of 115k/N and the construction of an additional overtaking lane. Moreover, the elements of the road drainage system were supplemented or replaced, and roadsides, kerbs and pavements were profiled and reconstructed.

A particular attention was paid to ecological aspects  during the construction of three section of acoustic screens, the „green wall” type (total – 203 mb) and to the security of road users (among other things, three intersections were reconstructed – turn lanes were prepared, the latest type of the traffic lights was installed; protective barriers and permanent road surface marking were prepared).

Contract works included the construction of two bridges over the railway tracks: two-span structures, one of them (left roadway) – 66.5 m long, the other (right roadway) – 64.5 m long. Bridgeheads and pillars were made of reinforced concrete, while the load-bearing structure was made of steel, with a platform made of reinforced concrete. Moreover, the old bridge was pulled down (1174 m³ of reinforced concrete). The steel structure of the bridge forming a part of the right roadway was consolidated behind the bridgehead and placed on bearings. Moreover, two culverts made of reinforced concrete were constructed (under both roadways of the national road No. 94 and along the access road).

During the execution of these works, the national road No. 94 was not closed for traffic.
