The investment includes the expansion of the 220/110 kV Chełm substation. The task is directly related to the expansion of the 400/110 kV Lublin Systemowa substation and construction of the 400 kV Chełm - Lublin Systemowa line. The contract provides for the expansion of the 220 kV switchgear, construction of the 400/220 kV transformer and construction of the 400 kV field for connection to the 400 kV Chełm - Lublin Systemowa line. A fire water tank and installations, a new access road to the substation with an entrance gate, a technology building and a building for own needs as well as acoustic screens will also be built.
