The newly constructed section is 16.6 km long. It connects the existing bypass of Skarżysko-Kamienna with the currently built interchange Kielce Północ [North]. A 2.9 km-long section of the existing S7 road ( km 514+900 - km 517+800) from Skarżysko towards Kielce is reconstructed to the parameters of an express road. Further on, a 13,771 km-long section of the road (km 517+800 - km 531+571) is conducted along a new route, to the west of the existing road no 7, creating a bypass of Suchedniów, Ostojów, Łączna and Występa. Apart from that, for communication purposes, 2 WB-type road interchanges (Suchedniów and Zalezianka) are executed at junctions with district roads. Moreover, sections of 15 existing roads and streets crossing the designed express road are reconstructed. The Investment Project s also involves execution of 18 road structures, including 3 gantries, 8 viaducts, 2 bridges, 2 footbridges, 2 animal crossings and retaining walls made of concrete panels. The longest, 290-meter long gantry has been designed over the Bzin reservoir. Some of the objects are founded on RCC large diameter piles h d=1500 mm, some on subgrade strengthened with DSM columns, and still other objects are founded directly on concrete cushions. Spans of all the objects are designed as spans pre-stressed with cables, while the basic span bearer in footbridges are arches made of bent steel pipes.
