Construction of a New Bridge over the Rudawa River in Zabierzów, Km 353+259, along the National Road No. 79 together with the Expansion of the National Road No. 79
The investment includes the disassembly of the old bridge over the Rudawa River along the National Road No. 79 and construction of a new one. In order to perform the reconstruction, first, a detour road should be built along with a temporary bridge located in the direct vicinity of the new facility. The load-carrying structure is composed of 6 monolithic girders of the height of 1.35 m spaced every 2.75 m. The 0.88 m wide girders are capped with supporting cross-beams (width: 0.9 m). Abutment strip footings shall be built in the form of fi 508 mm pile caps. Supports shall be built in the sheet piling serving as a protection against possible washout. Moreover, the watercourse bottom and slope shall be stabilized with a 0.5 m wide rip-rap.
