Mota-Engil Central Europe has two quarries in Wroclaw region: a granite quarry in Górka-Sobocka, located at 7 km from Strzelin railway station, and a basalt quarry, in Janowiczki.
It is our target to produce high quality aggregates, destined to construction market, supplying both external clients and strategic projects of Mota-Engil Group.
Górka Sobocka Quarry
Górka-Sobocka Quarry has been subject to an important investment for modernization, providing it with the best technological means. A modern crushing plant was designed
and built, enhancing the production capacity to more than 800.000 ton/year.
Core production of Górka-Sobocka mainly consists of high quality gravels, adequate for concrete manufacturing. However, other fractions are produced as well, aiming at providing the market with the best products.
Janowiczki Quarry
Janowiczki Quarry can ensure a yearly production up to 200.000 ton of basalt aggregates, mainly used for concrete manufacturing and asphalt works.
