Laying the Cornerstone for the Student Cultural Zone building in Wrocław

On Wednesday, 8th of February this year, a ceremony was held to lay the cornerstone for the Student Cultural Zone and a Multi-Storey Car Park building of the Warsaw University of Technology.

Among the guests of the ceremony were: Aleksander Marek Skorupa – Governor of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Jerzy Tutaj – Member of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Government, Adam Grehl – Vice President of Wrocław. Mota-Engil Central Europe was represented by: Andrzej Szumiec – South Region Manager – civil construction, Andrzej Potrzebka – Site Manager, Andrzej Monastyrski – Works Manager and Nelson Coelho – Project Manager.
The cornerstone was consecrated by Rev. Prof. Waldemar Irek – Rector of the Papal Faculty of Theology in Wrocław.
The building will have four stories and the investment will include a café, a student club and a canteen with a stage. There will also be two halls: an exhibition and a chamber hall, a Xerox place, a locker room, a left luggage office and a multi-storey car park for nearly 300 cars.
The structure will be fully adjusted to the needs of handicapped persons. The value of the investment amounts to 27 MPLN. The planned deadline for the building to be delivered for occupancy is the first quarter of 2013.
