Since 2007, during almost 3,5 year of joint effort of several teams in the commercial, production and production support areas, the concept of ME Academy – Integration program was executed in a formula of 6-month intensive, cross-learning training process based on the “learning by doing” principle. During that time 55 Academics grouped in 9 shifts were trained in scope of Tender Process, Production Process, Planning and Economical Control, Contract Administration, QSE, Procurement, Equipment Management, with Team Building activities involved, as well seminars on several subjects, visits to Sites and Plants.

Summary of all nine groups indicate that 96% of participants has finished successfully the whole program and were assigned to further duties to use in practice their knowledge and to compensate the investment company made through dedication in training process of all internal coaches.

The rate of retain in the company of all academics is 79% and company has gained a group of young professionals in several areas, from which some overtook already exposed and managerial positions in Production.

According to initial assumptions, now it is the right moment to reorient the ME Academy format. Maintaining the same aim of passing the general knowledge regarding all crucial activities overtaken within our company in scope of preparation and execution of the construction project, this time we should dedicate training opportunity to young engineers employed already in Production Area.

The structure of new format of ME Academy – Integration Program assumes monthly seminars, executed during one year and covering the subjects as: Tender Process - Preparation of a budget, Contract Administration, Cost Control, Procurement, Quality, Safety and Environmental System, Equipment Management and other specific seminars not connected directly with construction process but reflecting company’s ways of doing.

The aim is to organize seminars periodically in several different locations in  order to allow the participation of engineers from all Production Regions and contracts in execution.

In each location the seminars yearly round will be dedicated to engineers from Production Area recently employed, who learn their duties and need to get to know the company. Participants shall be proposed by Production Managers or Big Contract Managers.

Except the new ME Academy – Integration Program, thanks to cooperation of our internal, company’s experts, HR Development Department intend to coordinate the other training initiative of ME Academy - Management Development Program.

The other important aspect of that initiative is to guarantee fulfillment of the MECE Balanced Scorecard goals in the Learning & Growth Perspective which is an Increase Career Development for Managers (goal 13), and Enhance MECE Organizational Culture (goal 15).

This program has been designed with the scope of improving the management competencies of our Managers and to contribute to their career development.

The training is structured in monthly seminars/workshops held by internal and external couches and will cover subjects as Management Processes and Procedures in MECE in main areas, Communication, Leadership, Team Management and Negotiations.
