FMAM scholarships

In 2015, education was added to the strategic CSR areas of the company. This enabled the creation of the FMAM scholarship programme (Manuel António da Mota Foundation), modelled on the programme that had been implemented for many years by the Mota-Engil Group. The initiative was addressed to the children of the company's personnel.

Although education in Poland is free, every student has to pay for textbooks, learning aids and, frequently, also the costs of living in a university town. The goal of the scholarships is to support and encourage the best and most ambitious students and children of the company's personnel to develop their talents and expand their knowledge. The initiative has gained wide popularity, and the number of its beneficiaries is growing with each year. In Poland, the programme is carried out jointly by Mota-Engil Central Europe and the Manuel António da Mota Foundation.
