Mota-Engil and the Community
Social responsibility performs important strategic function within the Mota-Engil Central Europe. We build roads but also express care and concern about all users of the roads in Central Europe. The national statistics on road safety indicate, that Poland is one of the leaders in road accidents within the European countries. We want to change it, prevent accidents and save as many lives as possible. We build safe roads and we want all their users to use them correctly.
That is why on May 2010 Mota-Engil Central Europe has started a long-term awarness campaign „Safely to the destination”. The campaign is aimed at drivers, pedestrians, children, parents, cyclists, and consists of a large amount of continuous small-size actions which after three years will reach directly more than 120.000 persons. The actions are organized in different places of Poland in schools, kindergartens, rallies, car services, gas stations, streets, buses, bus stops, radios and many more.
We are sure, that by all these complex actions, Mota-Engil Central Europe will help to prevent and to reduce number of accidents in Poland.
