The European Road Safety Charter is a European participatory platform made up of enterprises, associations, research institutions and public authorities – for all those who want to prevent road accidents and to reduce their number. The European Road Safety Charter is much more than only a policy document. It is an invitation by the European Commission to take concrete actions, assess results and further heighten awareness about the need to reduce road accident fatalities.

The members from different European countries undertake to carry out concrete actions and share their good practices in order to resolve the road safety problems that they encounter in their day-to-day environments. The Charter has more than 1.450 signatories. Mota-Engil Central Europe has also taken this commitment on May 2010.

The company has commited to prevent road accidents in Poland, to undertake to implement proactively, the measures within the sphere of responsibility and activities so as to speed up progress on road safety. The Commitment of MECE is aimed at three main groups: pedestrians, drivers and children.

Mota-Engil Central Europe is sure, that by a large number of these complex actions  will help to prevent and to reduce the number of accidents in Poland.  Upon signing the European Road Safety Charter, the company  helps to build upon knowledge and to exchange good practices on road safety in Europe.
