Presence in the World
The roots of Mota-Engil begin in Portugal and Angola in 1946. In addition to its historic role in Angola, where it has always been supporting the country's development process, the Mota-Engil Group also operates in the other Portuguese-speaking countries of Africa.
As a result of big efforts directed at the internationalisation and diversification of its activities, the Group has also made its mark in Central and Eastern Europe and on the American continent, progressively strengthening and consolidating its operations in other markets, seeing itself as a Group of Iberian dimension with an ambition to become a European reference.
Today Mota-Engil is strong, international Group, present in European, American and African continents.
Creating value, growing and diversifying on a sustained basis therefore make up the strategic design of the Mota-Engil Group in its efforts to open up the paths to the successfull future.
